Aim for the moon and if you miss you will reach the stars...

woo hoo!

woo hoo! at last this thing is finally working. at last i've decided to get a webpage started as well as an online diary. wonder how long it will last? not that much to report though. just lots of work for a website i'm working on, and lots of marking to do to keep my students happy. my first website that i'm getting paid for will be up tomorrow night which is exciting, although i wish i could've designed it much nicer, instead i have to concentrate solely on the content, which is definitely the important thing for this site. still, it's something to look forward to. after that, i'll have to spend the next 2 weeks marking assignments (i have about 240 to get done!) which sucks cos i was hoping to catch up on all the mail that i've left lying around. i am so sorry to all who i owe swaps to - you're just too patient with me!

after that i don't know what to do. i would love to get a decent job where i don't get paid bugger all and get treated like crap by some co-workers cos i'm younger than them ($70/hr sounds great, but by the time i've finished marking all the work, it ends up being about $10-$15/hr and is not enough for the work i do). i am hoping to start up a multimedia business, or get a decent job somewhere to get started, but then i have this honours thing hanging over my head - there's been so much crap associated with it that anyone else besides the 3 of us who have been through would never understand. no wonder no one has never finished arts honours in multimedia! i did do a double degree though so i might just look for a job in another industry instead. not really fussed at the moment, just as long as it's somewhere else - i love my students though and will miss them. it's definitely quite funny being recognised around my uni campus when i'm the type of person who would rather stay away from all that.

on the plus side, my netball team had a good game tonight, although we had a draw but i had the last shot of the game to get us level, so at least we didn't lose.

i'm off to watch angel now.
