how good is this? 2 entries in 2 days! although that's thanks to the broadband connection i'm spoilt with at home. i should really be doing some marking but i just can't get myself motivated enough to do it. i'm enjoying the 2 days off and have enjoyed them (and being able to sleep in!!) far too much so now i'm procrastinating. so far i've cleaned up my room (so i can now actually see the carpet!), sorted out all of my receipts and created the newsletter that i said i'd make yesterday. i couldn't believe how quickly i was able to not only write the stories but create a masthead and lay it all out on the page! i've mentioned this diary and my website in the newsletter so hopefully i'll get some visitors when i send it out next week.
after this i have to have a nice long warm shower (warm water at my house is at a premium during winter thanks to solar hot water!) and then after dinner i'm going to sort out all the marking that i have to do. after that, i want to do some knitting while watching Wimbledon.
i have a busy week ahead - a tutor's break up party at some hotel in the hills, and then i'm going to see Shrek and Harry Potter at some stage during the next week with a few friends. there's also a farewell party for my friend who is off to Sweden for a year to study, plus all my marking. i think i'll have my own party when that's all done!
