glenelg and the end of angel

July 16, 2004, 8:51 p.m.

it's been a very busy week. had my cousins over for 2 days, then saw them again and then today i went to glenelg for lunch with my mum, grandma and mum's friend. didn't have much of a chance to go shopping but i did find some funky stamps (not the paper variety) to use on some projects i have planned. i bought a few crafty books on wednesday at harbour town and they've inspired me a bit so now i want to do some stamping on a little chest of drawers that i have.

haven't been doing much this week at all - just some random odd jobs that need to get done - i've cleaned my glass fish now and they look sooo much better! i'm also in the process of removing some icky rust and mould from some my little ponies that have been mistreated badly. i'm hoping to resell my doubles on ebay once they've been returned to pristine condition. i've also got some ideas for custom ponies (basically changing the colour of the pony's body and hair and giving it a new unique symbol if it is badly damaged) which i may also sell on ebay. haven't decided yet.

i still have a few weeks of holidays left so will have time to catch up on mail - just had a heap of other things to get done first. i have an incredible amount of letters to reply to - i think they've been breeding under my bed!

also hoping to convince my parents to get a dog - the lady who drew up plans for our (possible) house extension has a 6 month old black labrador which she wants to give away because it is too big for her kids. i want her!!

i'm very upset about the end of angel this week - it just wasn't a fitting end to such a cleverly written show. now, when buffy ended, it had a proper ending but the last episode of angel missed out. i am so pissed off that such good shows are ending so that they can produce the shit that they call reality tv. the standard of tv shows has dropped so severely lately, and to be honest i couldn't care less about nobodies who want 15 minutes of fame - i want to see real acting and decent story lines.

that's enough from me now. please don't think i'm addicted to tv - i just hate to see such rubbish when i turn it on.
