hmmm, terribly sinful of me not to update in soooo long! apologies to anyone who reads this, if there are any of you out there!
a few things have happened since i've been 'away' from this diary, so i guess i should start from the start...
first of all, i went to Bali and Rach's slamming party in Melbourne and had a fantastic time down there. it was the first time i'd ever met any pals and/or swappers so it was a surreal experience. as well as meeting Bali and Rach, i met Candy, Christy and Zelda who i all know through mail, and others who i don't write with. it was an excellent party espeially since a lot of us had never met before and we came from all different places and backgrounds.
after that i had to come back home and to the reality of work which included about 3 weeks of marking assignments then i was lucky enough to get a redback spider bite! i've been bitten before but this one made me more sick than normal and the hot weather didn't help at all! my foot was so swollen i could barely walk but fortunately for me i didn't have to go anywhere and was able to do my work from home.
Christmas was excellent. no extended family dramas since we had a picnic at the park so no one knew where we were, and we took lilly with us too and she had a great time :)
that brings me to january. i was lucky enough to get a contract with a company to help with any IT related things that need to be done for the budget (and i also get to travel - woo hoo!), which means that i'm now working full-time (at least until the end of march so i'm gonna have to start looking for work again!) the entire month has gone by so quickly that i'm finding it hard to believe that it's almost february! i have done hardly anything that i need to get done, including swaps, mail, updating my diary and website, cleaning up my room and organising my stuff, amongst other things. so as you can tell, i am incredibly behind!!!
i'm at work at the moment but getting rather frustrated with what i need to get to work, since it won't work, and no one else is around so why should i bother? it can wait till monday cos i have the weekend ahead... yay!
