yep what a ridiculous time to add an entry! i have finally had some time today to sit down and catch up on some net stuff. had a busy day shopping as there was a 25% off clothes sale at kmart. i had to buy lots of clothes for winter cos as yet i don't really have a professional-type wardrobe that would keep me warm in winter (although it seems to be avoiding us this year!). i spent $220 and got a pair of pants, 2 skirts, 3 tops and 2 pairs of shoes as well as Pete Murray's album (yep - i am slack when it comes to cds!!!) and a smoked rawhide bone for lilly. pretty good if you ask me! tomorrow we're supposed to go shopping again but that depends on my sister being available.
i've become soooo frustrated with the over-the-top prices people are willing to pay for buffy and angel dvds on ebay. i only had 2 seasons missing (1 from each series - both of which were released last year) and they're not available in shops in the nice cardboard collector's boxes anymore as they were a limited release due to the new cheaper 1 cover for 3 discs version that came out at the end of the year. i didn't have the money last year to buy them when they came out, so i thought i'd wait a bit and then get them. BIG MISTAKE! now the only place to get them is ebay and i refuse to pay $200+ for 3 dvds that i don't want to keep on the shelf in their wrappings - i want to watch them! so today i made the decision to just buy the cheaper 1 cover version so that my set is complete, although not looking complete! i have to say that 2 covers per season take up a hell of a lot less room than 6!
i also got the garbage and scissor sisters albums in the city yesterday - had to run into target quickly to change a few things for a workmate's baby present. we had a bit of trouble from another work colleague about what to get, so we snuck back later to change things and i took the opportunity to add to my cd collection, which sadly i haven't done since i went to bali + rach's party in melbourne. i also grabbed some of the new mlps that have just come out. target is the best for them - they have a huge range so i'll always find something that i don't have.

i also had to deal yet again with some charming outbursts from my dad and brother. i wish they were overseas again. i am sick of them assuming that i do nothing just because i want to take my dog for a walk and then watch a bit of tv after work. I WORK FULL TIME! i simply don't have time to do stuff at home on weekdays anymore, and if there's one thing i hate, it's being dictated by my brother. I WILL DO WHAT I WANT WHEN I WANT AND HOW I WANT TO DO IT! this includes looking after and training my pets as well as enjoying my hobbies. f%$k them - they can't and won't run my life!
