i'm tired! how the hell can i be tired when i went to bed at 10:30, 1.5 hours before i normally go to bed! haven't really had much to do at work this week, just waiting to start my new position on monday. fingers crossed that i'll be able to settle in quickly and have time to do all of my projects that are collecting dust at home.
i now have a routine when i get home from work: i take lilly for a walk (usually to the park to meet up with other owners and their dogs), come home and feed the pets, put my canary to bed, spend some time on my projects (at the moment this is organising mail and sorting out my stamp collection), watch home and away and sometimes whatever is on between 7:30 - 8:30, have dinner and then watch some tv or a dvd while i organise/clean up my room.
this is suiting me well as i am organised and getting things done. hopefully i will have finished sorting out and soaking the back papers off of my stamps by the end of next week (yep, it's a massive job!) so that i can move onto something else. probably lots of slam-making and goodie bag making (i bought a box of 75 resealable bags on special for $2 to make goodie bags - anyone want one made for them??) or sorting out my mlps or even update my site. haven't decided yet.
i had a set back with my mail after i left 2 full 3kg swaps out and they ended up getting full of dust as my dad and brother were knocking the bathroom down. i had to take everything out and clean it up before i could post them! my room still resembles a bomb site as i have just bought winter clothes and shoes for work and i haven't yet sorted out my craft magazines. thankfully i now have a (makeshift) desk - the dining room table. this means that i can sit down in a quiet spot and sort out all the stuff that i need to get done and be out of everyone's way so they don't complain. i used to do this on my bed in my room but i am so sick of my lower back getting sore from sitting on my bed that i convinced my mum to let me take over the dining room table, since it's not used anyway. only thing is it's made of glass so i have to be careful not to scratch it. so far i have my computer, all the homewares i've bought for when i move out, and all my ponies there and that's where i go each day to do mail/stamps after work each day. it's great cos i've got my comfy computer chair there. i wish i could spend more time on my 'projects' but i have to work to get money to afford to buy stuff so i really shouldn't complain!
