it's a bit of a bleh day today. we're still working on the defect management system at work and it's just so complex and uses such old fashioned technology that my brain hurts after an almost all-day catch up meeting. doesn't help that i haven't had much sleep for the past 2 nights (monday woke up as the storm was very close and was making the house shake and my foot hurt, and last night cos it was windy and i was overtired), and have been at work by 8am!
we've had a nasty storm here: not quite as furious as hurricane katrina, but havoc has been wreaked none the less! i took lilly for a walk on monday but it was only short as i could see lighning and it got dark quickly. i wanted to take her out yesterday too, but again it got really dark and very windy so i didn't, and lucky too cos not long after it started pouring down!
i bowled 9 games over 3 days - fortunately my arm was able to cope this time, but my foot was not. it hurt like hell monday night, so i'm gonna put my new colorado shoe generic orthodic type thingys in my shoes next week to see if that helps. at least i bowled a bit better - got a high of 177 on saturday night (with bumbers on but not using them - i find them offputting) and then sunday i got around 120 for all 3 games, and monday night was 143 (but i did reeeeeeally shite in the last game!)
yeah i know i have to put something up about my melbourne trip still... i need some spare time to collect all my thoughts and remember all the stuff i did, and then even more time to type it out. yeah, like i have any spare time at the moment! this weekend i've got a basketball game on friday night (yay! FINALLY got season tickets that cost a shitload!), then saturday is the footy (final between crows and saints) then sunday is father's day. don't know when i'll have time to go to the show unless we go some time after work maybe?
anyways, i'm off soon - gonna do some shopping in the city for some beading supplies :) got a few things i need so i can start making pretty jewellery and other things.
