i'd never thought that i'd say this, but i am really welcoming the warm weather for the first time ever, as long as it doesn't get warmer than about 27C that is... yes i am a winter girl and i love the cold weather but it certainly makes taking lilly for a walk difficult and that's what i love to do above anything else at the moment! speaking of 'walkies', i have discovered an interesting law of the land - melissa in park with no dog means lots of magpie swoops and stalking to her front door, but melissa with dog walking in park means peace and quiet. yep, they're scared of a lunatic black doggy but not a big girl. stupid birds!
my weekend was ok, except for the stupid footy on saturday night. we went to our first basketball game with our brand spanking new season tickets on friday night, then it was father's day on sunday - lots of chocolate as my dad loves it, and playing with the doggy :)
bowling was ok this week - i played crap on sunday but fortunately for me so did the team we played against and we ended up winning 4 out of 4 games :) last night i bowled much better (120-something, and then 166), breaking the star of the week hoodoo for once! we won both games which keeps us on top of the ladder going into the last week of the comp. yayness.
not much else to report really - just the usual slog of work and trying to do all the stuff i have to do at home. i have far too many hobbies and am desperately clinging onto all of them because i don't want to give anything up. not yet anyway.
ahhh the chilli peppers are music to my ears :) i never get sick of their music - i'm so glad i can listen to cds at work. helps block out irrelevant conversations, and definitely speeds up my production :)
