Aim for the moon and if you miss you will reach the stars...

enough!

ok that's enough now. can't be bothered filling in any more of those silly surveys! can't be bothered doing anything at the moment really. it's just one of those boring yucky days. can't wait till after work though - off to the basketball again. paid off my season ticket at last and this is the second game i'm going to. yay.

haven't been up to much lately (who would have guessed?!?), just treating lilly's ear and keeping her on her food trial. seems to have improved a bit even though we're only on week 3. also been organising lots of swaps and stuff - finally bit the bullet and passed on a massive stack of lyrix. i've come to the realisation that there really is no point in me filling in everything i get sent. if i miss out, someone will (eventually) take my place. i don't want to pass on the decos though since i love them so much. my makeshift desk is now set up for me to do decos and i want to get through the pile as quickly as possible so i can 1) use up supplies as i have a huge abundance of them at the moment and 2) stop feeling as guilty as hell for having them around for so long. i also have a big fat A3 box full of deco/lyrix that i haven't done yet because they take so bloody long to do and i don't have anyone to send them to anymore. will do the max quota for each one (usually 10 pages) and then send them home. this will probably take me another year to do!

found a scrapbooking shop at burnside village that is middle of the range in terms of expensiveness. lots of fun was had shopping in there yesterday! i got a flower pot hole punch, typewriter font alphabet stamp set, nice glitter, some funky skeleton leaves, slide inserts and some pretty paper. i was allowed to buy stuff without feeling guilty cos i got my bonus from work. also bought some dvds - sopranos seasons 1 and 2 ($45 each down from $90), Lord of the Rings movies 2 and 3 ($18 each) and interview with the vampire and casablanca (just cos i wanted an old movie - i LOVE old movies!) ($15 each). i wanted the original willy wonka and also wizard of oz but they were both sold out. i found willy wonka at kmart later ($12.80!!!) but still no oz. will be on the hunt for it after work today...

will use the rest of the bonus to pay off some of my $25000 hecs debt. very depressing :(

a few things to look forward to...

  • i'm having a dog day next weekend. a backyard full of bouncing puppies. can't wait :)

  • the big grand final is on tomorrow. can't wait even though my boys aren't there. go swans!

  • i'm getting a pay rise some time soon. yay!
